I saw this on PostSecret and I just kind of cracked up. YES MY LIFE IS SO SAD I’M LAUGHING AT SOMETHING LIKE THIS!! At this rate I’ll probably start laughing at Daniel’s lame jokes. And Nick’s too. Whoever cracks a joke in front of me first.
It kind of struck me how blogging should naturally be something that comes out straight from the mind, you know? There’s supposed to be this flow of energy from the brain straight to the fingers when you’re typing a post on your blog. Your blog should reflect who you are, not who you want other people to think you are.
That said, here’s a thought-filled blog post by moi.
And I’m totally not doing this because my photos aren’t uploading properly. So don’t even suggest that! DAMN YOU FLICKR!
I can’t believe I’m going to say this but… there are actually other people who think the same way as I do!!!!!!!!!! So I’ve been blog hopping again, WHICH I WOULDN’T HAVE TO DO IF MORE PEOPLE I ACTUALLY KNOW WOULD UPDATE THEIR BLOGS, and I’m glad to say that I found some pretty interesting blogs to read. Interesting not only because they sound like something I would write wth, but also because… actually I can’t think of another reason wth.
Anyway, this brings me to my next point.
Have you ever read someone else’s blog/article/poem/riddle/mind wth and thought to yourself: Hey! That sounds like something I would say! I’m not talking about just a few sentences in the whole article, but the whole damn thing! I’m not talking about opinions about serious issues/popular topics either, but things that you think about right before bed. And things that you’ve always considered only affected you, things that you’ve never told anyone else about. All that coming from someone you have never met/heard of/talked to before!
Well, I can say the feeling of actually seeing someone write something that has been playing in your mind is just … plain.. WOAH CREEPY! It’s like seeing, with your own eyes a twin of yours you never knew existed even though at the back of your head you somehow believe what they say about everyone having 6 (or is it 7?) other total lookalikes is true.
I think I might have just found a soulmate.
Woah. What an intense statement.
Now off to my next point (wth like writing English composition pula).
The other day when I was watching TV I saw this talk show host who was kind of unattractive. And I remember thinking to myself WHAT IS THIS GUY DOING ON TV?? He’s NEITHER good-looking, well-built, eloquent NOR extremely humourous. Basically he had none of the features that an ideal talk show host should possess. Then for some absurd reason and after further observation, for a split second, I actually thought that he looked a little like… me wth. So I checked the mirror and concluded that it was just an illusion THANK GOODNESS. (wth why must my thought-filled posts be so embarrassing?)
Anyway, I’m saying this because I feel that sometimes we (die die also don’t wanna use ‘I’) think that we look better than we probably do. Do you agree with me?
If you don’t then forget I ever said that wth.
Haven’t you noticed how a lot of people always complain that they look super hideous in photos? Haven’t you met people who always whine about how ugly they look in clothes which suit them perfectly? How about people who throw hissy fits about haircuts that didn’t go wrong at all? I think I might have met them.
Well, sometimes it’s because of lack of self-confidence. Sometimes, it’s the annoying fake modesty. Other times, it’s due to the reason I mentioned, don’t you think?
And sometimes it’s just because they are ugly la let’s not argue about that.
In a nutshell wth, I conclude that finding potential soulmates without actually meeting the person is creepy and that most of us think that we look better than we possibly do.
Thank you.
XOXO
