You Know Pants are Getting Too Expensive When..

Girls are wearing leggings as pants.

And guess what?

So are some guys.

I really like his boots though (except for the one with heels o.O). But that’s only because I’m currently infatuated with boots. *hint hint* my birthday is coming. In 4 months but still..

Bah. I think I’ve heard a lot of girls chanting “LEGGINGS ARE NOT PANTS!” whenever they see other girls wearing leggings with a top hardly covering their butts. And I have to agree that it IS quite obscene when they do that. Especially if their leggings are the sheer type o.O

I wonder how are people going to react if they saw a guy wearing leggings pula :P And I think brainless guys who try too hard to look fashionable would totally try to sport this look once it comes to Malaysia (and I think it will hit our shores soon). Personally, I think I’ll pass. Us guys (or maybe it’s just me) hardly wear shirts that are long enough to cover our butts (if they’re that long they’re usually meant to be tucked in) and if we were to wear leggings some more it’s going to look super awkward below the belt… and probably FEEL really awkward too o.O

Okay commenting on that made me feel awkward too.

So what do you girls/guys think?

I think it’s smarter to put some pants on :D

Albeit still a bit TOO androgynous for my liking.

But that’s just me I guess.

That’s all!

I Look So Good

I recently discovered I have an affinity towards bitter love songs. As in breakup anthems. During the entire last-minute-cramming-before-the-exam period I had Kristinia Debarge’s ‘Goodbye’ and Esmee Denters’ ‘Outta Here’ playing on loop. And my favourite Taylor Swift song is ‘You’re Not Sorry’ and I think All-American Rejects’ ‘Gives You Hell’ is freaking awesome too :P

It’s definitely not derived from my personal experiences in my (nonexistent) love life. I think I might have developed a perspective on breakups from the million times someone around me had ended a romantic relationship or had it ended for them.

I realise I might not say it every time but deep down inside I always do think either party deserves better. Allow me to emphasize EITHER party. So I guess that’s how I grew fond of bitter love songs.

In my humble opinion, to be able to tell yourself you’ll be alright is brave but to be able to turn around and bash the person who did you wrong and to prove to him/her that you’ll be better off is, well, wrong, but heck it’s beyond courageous. Once a friend said “I wanna stick a toothpick up his shrinking dick” after a breakup and I think that’s freaking hilarious. I found a song (and no, it’s not about toothpicks and whatnot) and I think it’s pretty awesome.

I Look So Good (Without You) by Jessie James will be on my one-song-playlist on repeat now. When I first saw the title I went all WTH WHY THIS GIRL SO VAIN ONE?? First she sang about how good she looks in blue jeans and now this? I later found out the true meaning of the song. Oh! And she’s really pretty too. Like a mix between Adriana Lima and Thalia.

That’s all for now! Enjoy the video!

It's Like You're Reading My Mind! *perasan*

I saw this on PostSecret and I just kind of cracked up. YES MY LIFE IS SO SAD I’M LAUGHING AT SOMETHING LIKE THIS!! At this rate I’ll probably start laughing at Daniel’s lame jokes. And Nick’s too. Whoever cracks a joke in front of me first.

It kind of struck me how blogging should naturally be something that comes out straight from the mind, you know? There’s supposed to be this flow of energy from the brain straight to the fingers when you’re typing a post on your blog. Your blog should reflect who you are, not who you want other people to think you are.

That said, here’s a thought-filled blog post by moi.

And I’m totally not doing this because my photos aren’t uploading properly. So don’t even suggest that! DAMN YOU FLICKR!

I can’t believe I’m going to say this but… there are actually other people who think the same way as I do!!!!!!!!!! So I’ve been blog hopping again, WHICH I WOULDN’T HAVE TO DO IF MORE PEOPLE I ACTUALLY KNOW WOULD UPDATE THEIR BLOGS, and I’m glad to say that I found some pretty interesting blogs to read. Interesting not only because they sound like something I would write wth, but also because… actually I can’t think of another reason wth.

Anyway, this brings me to my next point.

Have you ever read someone else’s blog/article/poem/riddle/mind wth and thought to yourself: Hey! That sounds like something I would say! I’m not talking about just a few sentences in the whole article, but the whole damn thing! I’m not talking about opinions about serious issues/popular topics either, but things that you think about right before bed. And things that you’ve always considered only affected you, things that you’ve never told anyone else about. All that coming from someone you have never met/heard of/talked to before!

Well, I can say the feeling of actually seeing someone write something that has been playing in your mind is just … plain.. WOAH CREEPY! It’s like seeing, with your own eyes a twin of yours you never knew existed even though at the back of your head you somehow believe what they say about everyone having 6 (or is it 7?) other total lookalikes is true.

I think I might have just found a soulmate.

Woah. What an intense statement.

Now off to my next point (wth like writing English composition pula).

The other day when I was watching TV I saw this talk show host who was kind of unattractive. And I remember thinking to myself WHAT IS THIS GUY DOING ON TV?? He’s NEITHER good-looking, well-built, eloquent NOR extremely humourous. Basically he had none of the features that an ideal talk show host should possess. Then for some absurd reason and after further observation, for a split second, I actually thought that he looked a little like… me wth. So I checked the mirror and concluded that it was just an illusion THANK GOODNESS. (wth why must my thought-filled posts be so embarrassing?)

Anyway, I’m saying this because I feel that sometimes we (die die also don’t wanna use ‘I’) think that we look better than we probably do. Do you agree with me?

If you don’t then forget I ever said that wth.

Haven’t you noticed how a lot of people always complain that they look super hideous in photos? Haven’t you met people who always whine about how ugly they look in clothes which suit them perfectly? How about people who throw hissy fits about haircuts that didn’t go wrong at all? I think I might have met them.

Well, sometimes it’s because of lack of self-confidence. Sometimes, it’s the annoying fake modesty. Other times, it’s due to the reason I mentioned, don’t you think?

And sometimes it’s just because they are ugly la let’s not argue about that.

In a nutshell wth, I conclude that finding potential soulmates without actually meeting the person is creepy and that most of us think that we look better than we possibly do.

Thank you.

Legally Blonde: The Musical

These few days I’ve been helplessly addicted to funny things and I managed to find Legally Blonde: The Musical online! YES! THE MUSICAL!! And the best part is….. the WHOLE MUSICAL has been uploaded online!!!!

I just found there’s a musical adaptation of the hit movie and I’m so, so glad I did! The musical IS A TOTAL BLAST!!! Well, the first half and the last quarter of it is anyway :P

And that’s coming from someone who isn’t even the biggest fan of musicals! These Broadway actors really put lipsynchers to shame man! They can sing and dance at the same time, and so freaking impressively well too!!

I’ll embed the videos here because everyone should watch it because it’s REALLLLYYY FUNNY!!

I think Part 1 has the best song in the whole musical! The opening song is just too funny to miss!!! ‘I’ve got tears coming out of my nose’???? LOL It’s kinda annoying that they kept singing ‘omigod’ though but the song is still awesomely enjoyable nonetheless!
This is Part 3. I copied the link for this one because I think everyone should keep their eyes glued to the screen and WATCH Elle’s PERSONAL ESSAY. Yes, WATCH her personal essay! It’s just as good as the video Reese made in the movie (the one of her in her shimmering bikinis LOL), if not better!! My next personal essay would look like that too! I wish.

For the rest of the musical, you can visit this WEBSITE HERE.

There are 18 parts in total. But it should load pretty quickly. Dailymotion is like YouTube, only in higher quality.

GO WATCH IT!!!!

That’s all!

Carols For This Christmas

I don’t know if anyone else loves Christmas songs but who cares? I do, so I’m going to post up Christmas songs on my blog!

1. Delta Goodrem – O Holy Night

Delta Goodrem’s my favourite singer of all time so of course I’m going to post her performance in this post! So what if I’m biased? Bleh.

But honestly, I’m not crazy about this performance, though. The thing I like about her voice is that it has this sort of dryish/husky element to it which makes it sexy and sweet at the same time (HAHA) but she tends to ‘press’ her voice too hard during live performances. Maybe it’s to make it more ‘catchable’ by the microphone or something but sometimes it just takes away all that softness in her voice which kinda sucks imo. But a lot of people are raving about how ‘strong’ her voice is in her performances that night so I shall not comment more on it la since I’m not a pro.

However, she is stunning to look at though :P So you can watch the video in mute wth nolah don’t do that she sounds, well, in tune afterall, so it’s still somewhat an enjoyable performance :) I guess I just expect too much.

And if you’re lazy to watch the video (credits to Delta-daily.com), here are some screencaps (also credits to Delta-daily.com)!

She looks so… perfect haha.

Close up. Perfect teeth too lol I’m so biased wth

She also sang ‘Silent Night‘ and ‘Oh Happy Days (with Brian) that night! Sigh. Wish I was there :(

2. Alexandra Burke – Hallelujah

Reigning X Factor’s (the singing competition Leona Lewis won 2 years ago) winner Alexandra Burke’s first single. I’m not sure if it’s a Christmas song actually because the lyrics seem to suggest otherwise. Nonetheless, it is a great song which broke Leona’s record of the fastest selling single (for a female solo artist) in Europe. Apparently it sold 105,000 copies within the first DAY of its release (Leona’s winner’s single sold 82,000 back in 2006) (and yes I remember the figures wth).

A lot of people are comparing these two winners but I think they have totally different types of voice. I prefer Leona’s voice, personally :P And yes, I’m biased too but so what? Well, we’ll see if Alexandra’s single gets to the top of the charts tomorrow because thanks to a Facebook Group, it’s facing a tough competition from Jeff Buckley, who covered the same song more than a decade ago. Looks like there’s people who want to break the ‘X Factor winner gets the Christmas No. 1 single’ tradition. Either way, the top 2 singles of the week will probably have the same title. And pretty much the same tune too :P

3. Terence Lee – I’m Sorry I Lied In My Previous Update wth

I didn’t redye my hair. Well, not yet. And I don’t think I’ll ever have the guts to dye it green la actually. Actually, no. I DO have the guts to dye it green which is the reason why I was messing around with the picture on Photoshop anyway – to see how I’d look with green hair. But I bet I’ll change my mind again in no time. And my hair is like a frizzball now it’s no joke. Sorry I lied :(

That’s all!
