This Is For You, Jun Yet

Because I know it sucks to be bored.

But thank goodness I’m not bored now! I’m listening to the Hairspray soundtrack which I don’t even remember downloading and I’m listening to one of its AWESOME songs called ‘You Can’t Stop The Beat’ and I’m trying to type as fast as the tempo of the song. IT’S INSANELY SPIRIT LIFTING OMG OMG OMG. If you could see me now you’d probably think I’m some pathetic-headbanging for no reason loser with a-whole-lot-of-inappropriate-hand-movements-and professional-hair-tosser wth insane.

In case you haven’t noticed, this is the first time in a million dog years that I’m actually posting more than just one post within 24 hours. The holidays are really getting to me, huh? Not really actually. I’m doing this for you, WONG JUN YET!

I know I have a lot to say. I just need to start somewhere. Okay, let’s see.

I started watching Grey’s Anatomy again. Well, until season 4 episode 7 because that’s where I stopped downloading the series after I felt that it was getting too R-rated. At one point I was watching some 10 episodes of it per day so it got really frustrating to see the cast members getting into each others knickers/pants every 15 minutes of the show at the most inappropriate places =.=

Anyway, apart from the script, another remarkable element to the series is the SOUNDTRACK!! They play the most beautiful songs at the most appropriate scenes sigh I wish I was as good at video editing as they are :( But I guess that’s why they’re actually PAID to do it la.

Oh! And Patrik kind of made me realise that it’s going to be New Year’s Day TOMORROW! Instead of churning out an impressively entertaining recap of this year, I’m here typing random crap here. But sorry la, I suck at recaps anyway. One of the many vices I have is that I always want to tell everything about a single story so I pretty much suck at summaries because they’ll never be within the word limit.

Currently, I’m in a debate with myself whether or not to write down resolutions for 2009 since I seem to want to accomplish quite a few things in the upcoming year. I didn’t do it last year because I knew it would be just for show and I didn’t want to end up being disappointed with my self when the year comes to an end.

Gah. I don’t like where this is going so I shall stop here.

Will be back again soon, I hope.

Before I forget, I’ll be in KL from Thursday to Monday!! Ring me okay?!!

On second thought, maybe not. No one’s gonna do it anyway.

That’s all!

Cya!

XOXO

These Few Days Leading to the End of The Year

.. have been uneventful.

And by uneventful, I mean UN-E-VENT-FULLLLL. Like seriously.

Do I hear you asking what I’ve been up to?

Yes I do wth.

I’ve been doing some SERIOUS blog hopping these past few days because *clears throat* A LOT OF MY FRIENDS HAVEN’T BEEN UPDATING THEIRS *ahem ahem*. So I had to BLOG HOP to read other people’s blogs. Chances are, if you’re a friend of a friend of friend of a friend of a friend of a friend X102480248 of a friend of mine, I’ve probably read your blog ;) And I’ve also come to notice how some people only blog when they’re feeling down/emo/sad; some people only blog to rant/curse/spread hatred to the whole world wth; some people only blog when they are ecstatic/hyper/feel like showcasing their lives as being perfect wth; some people blog every time one strain of their hair falls.

So today I shall blog as a different persona. As someone who is all ranty and depressed and so pessimistic he makes black look pink. Basically someone who is the opposite of me la because I’m like so bright and shiny and ever too kind hearted to say bad things about people. But I have every reason to blog so feistily this time since MY LIFE IS SO SAD IT’S PLASTERED NEXT TO THE WORD IN EVERY DICTIONARY OF EVERY LANGUAGE. *wails* woooooooooo T____________T (Gee. I’m so good at role-playing wth)

*stuck because don’t have anything to rant about wth*

*whatever la just rant about every single thing just to annoy people wth*

*sad persona on*

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I watched Prom Night, like FINALLY. Hello I’m probably the last person on earth to watch this movie omg I’m so outdated what should I do nobody wants to be my friend because I only watch movies after they’ve been released 38593853 light years so only after 38593853 (yes it’s the same number) years do Iget to discuss with them the movie which has been released 38593853 years ago. :( :( :( :( T___________T

*ranty persona on*

And I better be the last person to EVER WATCH Prom Night because the movie is a total waste of time, budget, prom dresses, overused knife and whatever that was involved in the making of that disastrous movie. Who on earth wants to watch a THRILLER after they’ve revealed the killer at THE VERY BEGINNING? The ONLY thing that would probably keep people watching the movie would be the kepo-ness to know if the main actress dies in the end. And that was exactly the reason why I fast forwarded the movie all the way to the end :D Did I tell you that the ‘psycho/serial killer’ in the movie killed every single person with the same TECHNIQUE (and not to mention, the same knife) which is the most uncreative thing to do, okay? Did the producers/writers of the movie really think that by being UNcreative, they would be able to STAND OUT of a crowd full of creative minds? The answer is obviously A.BIG.FAT.NO la haiyo. It doesn’t take a genius to know that la puh-lease.

I think if you showed the movie to happily swimming salmon fishies they’d kill themselves halfway through the movie and make sashimi out of each other because that would be less torturous for them wth. (wah good line to criticise a movie why am I so creative wth)

*ranty persona off*

Okay I’ve also watched other movies like Bring It On, Love Undercover and Legally Blonde! These movies are like so awesome la. Everyone should watch Legally Blonde and be more like Elle Woods so that this world can be a better place. I’m not even kidding. Her admissions video for Harvard was just.. PRICELESS! I mean, glittery bikinis and swimming pools in a video to be watched by balding professors on the admissions team? That’s just GENIUS! Hahaha.

I’m going to stop here la. I’ll be back again tomorrow I think with a totally different persona!

That’s all!

Cya!

ps. My year’s not ending as how I’d wished it to end. I’m not getting my driver’s license before 2009 :( Damn you un-flat hills and adrenaline rush! I shall conquer you next time! Wakakakakakakaka.

pps. It totally sucks although I have this theory that people who failed at their first attempt actually end up being better drivers (and Nick can be my witness for that).

ppps. But you can cheer me up by buying me GIFTS OR ICE CREAM OR ICE CREAM AS GIFTS :D :D :D

Bullshit & Bubbles

When some people are obviously bullshitting but try to act and sound smart at the same time, I can’t help but smirk. I really can’t.

Don’t you think sometimes it is better to burst the bubble because at times, the bubble could be so big it wouldn’t last long in the air undisturbed anyway?

But sometimes it is better to leave the bubble as that perfect sphere of sheer weight because at times, it could be so small no one could possibly be bothered by it.

And the best part is, you’ll get to see more bubbles of the same origin being blown into the once lonely space with just one tiny bubble. Oh! What fun!

And when more and more bubbles join in the game, the air gets so crowded that the safety of the smallest, most fragile bubbles get compromised.

They might even come into contact and merge. Consequently, the increasing thinness of the outer layer of slippery soap won’t be able to support the accumulated weight.

Eventually, the bubble, once unassociated discrete little unnoticed bubbles, bursts anyway.

And that concludes my story on bullshit and bubbles.

That’s all!

This Christmas

I gave up on Christmas shopping wth. Because it’s really hard to find Christmas presents in Miri :(

Maybe not that hard. It just takes A LOT OF EFFORT to look for nice gifts la.

So lalalalala this is what I’ve been doing instead:

1. The MOST DIFFICULT TASK OF ALL TIME – looking for the right font wth. Seriously, it is totally the most time consuming part of the whole process OKAY?? I even had to download more fonts because I couldn’t find THE PERFECT font but in the end I chose the simplest ones because less is more *nod nod*

2. Me outlining the fonts manually using a black marker :( because my printer ran out of black ink.. which is like.. sad T__T Hahaha this reminds me of the pictures in my Moral Portfolio where I was *ahem* servicing the community.

3. Cutting out all the letters. It’s addictive! No, I’m serious. Because it’s like the easiest thing to do – just have to cut according to the outlines of the alphabets. Even after I was done with all the alphabets I was still looking for more to cut out wth because I didn’t wanna move on to the next step because cutting out the alphabets is totally my comfort zone wth. But it’s really annoying to have to find and arrange the alphabets later on =.=

4. Arranging the alphabets on really pretty and shiny papers (which I can’t find at the store anymore T__T) to see which paper should be used. In the end I combined both the white and gold papers because I thought it’d look good but then it looked damn ugly :(

5. Arranging all the alphabets and other decorations onto the paper to see what’s the best fit. Oh by now you should know what I’m doing right? If you still don’t then I bet you think that pigs are a type of vegetable wakakakakkakaka wth. Anyway, it’s super tedious la to have to arrange the alphabets accordingly, flip the paper over if you don’t like how it looks, then have to rearrange them again sigh.

So for those of you who think that pigs are a type of vegetable wth, I’VE BEEN MAKING CHRISTMAS CARDS!!!

Finished two (only. shuddup) in time for Christmas this year and they look like this:

This one’s for my parents la. I was trying to make it look classy and sophisticated wth but then it didn’t really look classy and sophisticated la, it just looks very, well, simple.

This one’s for my sister :) Hahaha die die oso wanna stuff my fat face into the frame because this post is totally lacking photos of myself *flips hair wth* (Btw my hair damn long d hor? I’m still thinking of what to do with it, what colour to dye etc. The other day I thought of getting a mohawk but then the thought of having to wake up early everyday to apply some generic hair product managed to make me put ‘shaving my head’ on top of ‘getting a mohawk’ wth.)

And oklah the cards aren’t THAT pretty on the outside, but I always believe that it’s not what’s on the outside that matters, it’s what’s on the inside. chewah. And this is how my sister’s card look on the inside.

Nyeh. Not that pretty also actually. But at least it’s pop-up! Time constraint + Procrastination = Mediocrity, get it? :P

Oh and since it’s Christmas, I’m feeling generous so if you want a card too feel free to leave a comment and I’ll see what I can do :) No promises though.

That’s all!

Carols For This Christmas

I don’t know if anyone else loves Christmas songs but who cares? I do, so I’m going to post up Christmas songs on my blog!

1. Delta Goodrem – O Holy Night

Delta Goodrem’s my favourite singer of all time so of course I’m going to post her performance in this post! So what if I’m biased? Bleh.

But honestly, I’m not crazy about this performance, though. The thing I like about her voice is that it has this sort of dryish/husky element to it which makes it sexy and sweet at the same time (HAHA) but she tends to ‘press’ her voice too hard during live performances. Maybe it’s to make it more ‘catchable’ by the microphone or something but sometimes it just takes away all that softness in her voice which kinda sucks imo. But a lot of people are raving about how ‘strong’ her voice is in her performances that night so I shall not comment more on it la since I’m not a pro.

However, she is stunning to look at though :P So you can watch the video in mute wth nolah don’t do that she sounds, well, in tune afterall, so it’s still somewhat an enjoyable performance :) I guess I just expect too much.

And if you’re lazy to watch the video (credits to Delta-daily.com), here are some screencaps (also credits to Delta-daily.com)!

She looks so… perfect haha.

Close up. Perfect teeth too lol I’m so biased wth

She also sang ‘Silent Night‘ and ‘Oh Happy Days (with Brian) that night! Sigh. Wish I was there :(

2. Alexandra Burke – Hallelujah

Reigning X Factor’s (the singing competition Leona Lewis won 2 years ago) winner Alexandra Burke’s first single. I’m not sure if it’s a Christmas song actually because the lyrics seem to suggest otherwise. Nonetheless, it is a great song which broke Leona’s record of the fastest selling single (for a female solo artist) in Europe. Apparently it sold 105,000 copies within the first DAY of its release (Leona’s winner’s single sold 82,000 back in 2006) (and yes I remember the figures wth).

A lot of people are comparing these two winners but I think they have totally different types of voice. I prefer Leona’s voice, personally :P And yes, I’m biased too but so what? Well, we’ll see if Alexandra’s single gets to the top of the charts tomorrow because thanks to a Facebook Group, it’s facing a tough competition from Jeff Buckley, who covered the same song more than a decade ago. Looks like there’s people who want to break the ‘X Factor winner gets the Christmas No. 1 single’ tradition. Either way, the top 2 singles of the week will probably have the same title. And pretty much the same tune too :P

3. Terence Lee – I’m Sorry I Lied In My Previous Update wth

I didn’t redye my hair. Well, not yet. And I don’t think I’ll ever have the guts to dye it green la actually. Actually, no. I DO have the guts to dye it green which is the reason why I was messing around with the picture on Photoshop anyway – to see how I’d look with green hair. But I bet I’ll change my mind again in no time. And my hair is like a frizzball now it’s no joke. Sorry I lied :(

That’s all!

Cya!
