Anyway, I’m finally posting a picture-full entry after so long, or so it seems.
So *clears throat* last year, Niyi (how are we supposed to be related again?) and Cheryl (my latest mom) initiated a POTLUCK picnic at Lake Gardens because, you know, they were too cool to attend the MuMeds Dinner. Everyone in the totally extended and way too messed up ‘family’ participated in this coveted event. Well, everyone who was cool enough, that is.
TOTALLY NOT SAYING ANYTHING ABOUT YOU GUYS, BFF AND DANIEL KOH CHEE KHAN.
Organisers of the event, who were like, SO EARLY.
If I remember correctly, the picnic was the very next day after the MuMeds dinner, no? I was sooooo reluctant to drag myself out of bed that day (although I only woke up at 12) and contemplated if I should just sleep the rest of the day away. Texted Niyi and asked if everyone would be pissed and dehydrated if I didn’t go and she said yes. Which is totally untrue! It rained that day! Niyi, you are NEFARIOUS! DIABOLICAL! (Thanks Zoé for teaching me the diabolical word so now I can use it against the world wth) So after being cheated, I took a cab to Pyramid because JY was supposed to pick me, Stellasis, Hui Ruan and Zoé from there.
Since it was a potluck (GAH!), I brought what I’ve been bringing to all the potlucks I’ve been to for the past… 3 years?? That’s right! I brought the most important element of ALL THE POTLUCKS IN THE WORLD – water! In the form of very healthy drinks 
I think I’m the only person who buys Vitagen for a picnic who isn’t actually a mom wth.
As I mentioned earlier, it rained! When we got to Lake Gardens, that is (thanks to Jun Yet’s surprisingly improving sense of direction). Tough luck, huh?
But it didn’t stop these people from camwhoring! (Yes, this is just a lame statement for me to stuff in photos. If you can tell that you are on your way to achieving great success in, well, many ways)

Cheryl is seriously the most camera-aware person alive. I always knew it was right for me to repudiate Dan as my mom and adopt her as my new one
So after a thoroughly enjoyable feast of made-with-love food, we went our separate ways wth.
Not exactly, but kind of. Some stayed in the playground, some went to fly kites (I think I saw one of the kites hit someone in the face), some went for a walk in the rain, some stayed under the shade to gossip/pig out. Basically it was do-anything-you-like-as-long-as-you-don’t-come-back-with-a-broken-limb-or-a-baby time la!
