Medical school was closed for a week for the Year 2′s because there was an internal case of H1N1. The break probably wasn’t well-deserved but it was very much needed. VERY VERY much needed indeed. I shiver at the thought of extra classes now, though. But at least I had fun when I still could. Tomorrow uni starts again.

Me and JY with our masks on. Can you read my eyes? Which, according to stupid exmom, are very far from exophthalmos =.=
Pat kicked himself out of his house and soon after the sun set that Friday we were already on our way to Penang. Hush.

Drove around for a long time, stayed in the car for probably almost half the days, hunted for cheap hotels quite unproductively, ate some good food, ate some not so good food *stares at Hans*, had ample amounts of fun and enjoyment.

Didn’t take tons of photos because I’ve been lazy at whipping out my camera. I realise I prefer to be in front of the lens rather than behind it. Shocking huh?
The Monday after I came back from Penang was spent quite fruitfully, starting with lunch at Subway with exmom and BFF. Exmom really has quite a lot of things to say. And suspectfully too much endorphins. Finally sent my netbook to be fixed but I have yet to get it back. Fingers crossed that the warranty is still valid and that I get it back soon. I REALLY REALLY REALLY NEED IT BACK!!!!!!!! T__________T
Tuesday was pretty eventful as well. Went on a solo KL adventure! Not too fun, but adventurous nonetheless. I budgeted a RM50 (which is not little at all actually) for transportation so I decided to take PUBLIC TRANSPORTS. KTM sucks so I decided to go wherever the LRT could take me.
Woke up around 10ish and ordered McDonald’s breakfast because I LURVE their breakfasts and started my journey around 11ish. By the time the shuttle bus stopped at Pyramid Tower, it was already past 12. Not the odd hour of travel I was hoping for but I decided to go ahead with the adventure anyway.

Oh! These shoes cost only SGD$10 by the way! So cheap right!! And they’re comfy! But they don’t have the awesomest grip o.O
Anyway, I took a cab public transport from Sunway Pyramid to Kelana Jaya LRT which cost RM14 =.= Stupid cabs.
1st stop of the day was Amcorp Mall because I wanted to get novels. Cheap novels. Jo and JY have already been there and I wanted to go too!

At Book Xcess. OMG THE BOOKS THERE ARE SO CHEAP!!! The normal paperback novels are only RM17.90!! Which is like.. half the price of the same books sold in other major bookstores. Such ripoffs they are!! I spent quite some time in the bookstore to gain full worth of the time and effort spent getting there. Left the bookstore with 7 new books and a free book thong (which I do not know how to use) which cost less than Rm130!
Got onto the LRT again and stopped at Pasar Seni to look for artsy fartsy stuff that I might be able to utilise for my additional pieces of work. Couldn’t find Central Market so I went into a random rundown mall nearby to find that there really is nothing worth checking out inside. I usually like to go into rundown stores and thrift shops to see if they have anything cool but that mall really had nothing. cool. at. all. Was too scared to ask for directions from strangers because I was afraid that I might’ve stopped at the wrong station and Central Market was miles away wth so I texted Nick instead.
By the way Nick, Central Market is the LEAST rundown building there. In fact, it was fully air-conditioned!
But before I went to Central Market I stopped by another mall and went into this Indian clothing store because I’d always wanted those traditional Indian costumes! OMG they totally stared at me like I just came out from a spaceship that crashed into their store or something. The lady was evidently surprised when I said I’d be buying two Indian suits for myself. I think they’re called kurtas. They were only RM 60 each. If that’s not cheap, please do not tell me (even if you know where to get them at a better price). They look something like this:

Only, you know, much nicer because I have awesome taste. *vomits* I’ll take photos and post them up once I get to wear them! But I kinda plan to wear them with a blazer which is going to be so avant-garde/weird depending on how radical your fashion sense is, so yeah, I’ll show you guys some day!
So after that and Central Market, I decided to walk to Dataran Merdeka because it was only a few steps away. AND THE CREEPIEST THING HAPPENED TO ME OMG OMG OMG OMG

So as I was walking towards Dataran Merdeka some weird guy stopped me by the road and introduced himself by saying “Don’t be afraid of me. I mean no harm” WTH
Then he proceeded telling me about his mafia boss or whatever who got attacked at Petaling Street and now they’re trying to bring people to see the boss to see if it was the person who attacked him. Seriously WTF is wrong with these people?
And then he told me that if I wasn’t the one who attacked the boss, they’ll give me an ANGPAO WTH!
I was totally freaked out OMG OMG OMG so I waited for some other guy to walk past then I told him I had no time and quickly walked away with the other guy.

After that I didn’t have the mood to be adventurous anymore. Took the train back to Kelana Jaya then took a METERED cab back to the condo. The cab back was RM 10.50. I spent less than RM 35 on transportation woohoo!
That’s all!
Cya!
XOXO
