It’s that feeling when you wake up in the morning. It’s either you feel completely rejuvenated or you feel like you’ve just waken up in a dumpster. Either way, you get up and make the most of it.

But really, how much is ‘the most of it’ anyway?

Imagine the world to be this white canvas:

Somewhere in it, I placed a dot. A black dot. A black dot that represents where I stand.

Black should be the most conspicuous on a white canvas.

But can you see it?

Heck I bet you can’t even find the white canvas in the first place.

Tonight, I go to bed wanting to make a difference.

Tomorrow, I’ll probably wake up thinking “Screw it. Who cares about changing the world? I’ll only look out for myself.”

And I join the other 6  billion people in condemnation.

Okay I’m going to tell you what happened today just because I’m feeling chatty.

*fast forward to 5 pm*

So I parked my car too near the curb in front because I was afraid that passing cars would bang into my carbutt wth. AND my car has no sensors boohoo. Anyway, I drove all the way to Imperial Mall to look for Leona’s new CD and Time Traveler’s Wife because I’m desperate like that wth. I’ve looked in almost every possible store but still couldn’t find what I want

But I decided to go to the Speedy in Imperial anyway (because Speedy is the only store that sells original CDs here boohoo. There’s this shop that packages their CDs as though they’re original but hello I’m not blind I can tell from the printing) to look for Leona’s new CD. Searched the entire CD rack at the back of the shop but couldn’t find it The newest CDs I could find there were Carrie Underwood’s Play On and Marie Digby’s Breathing Underwater but I’m not interested So I tried searching the shelf at the front of the store where they usually display the new arrivals. But. I. Still. Couldn’t. Find. It.

Then my eyes met with the eyes of the shopkeeper wth. I decided there was no harm in asking her so I did.

“Leona Lewis’ latest CD?” she asked.

“Yeah” I answered.

Then she started looking through this pile of CDs next to the counter and I was convinced that she would give me a copy of the deluxe edition of Spirit. But she didn’t.

THEY HAD ECHO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I almost squealed. I was so happy that I didn’t even ask for a discount wth. Okay I did ask for a discount wth but they don’t give discounts so I had to spend RM 41.90 on it

But it’s worth every penny wooohooo! Although I’ve already downloaded the album and have been playing it on loop for like… a whole month? It feels different to actually have the CD

And not bad, we’re only 1 week behind the official release date! YAY!!

Ok end of my annoying little fangirl story wth.

Oh! I went to replace my lost IC. Still had to pay RM 60 even after going through the trouble of ringing up Monash and getting Nick to help me pay RM 10. Grrr. Oh well! At least I saved RM 60. *tries to look at the bright side wth* I had to wait sooooooo long but luckily I have a phone and BFF I was so envious of the people at the other side of the room who were registering kelahiran/kematian/anak angkat/perkahwinan/penceraian that I wished I was getting married instead wth. They had such a short queue!

I still need to wait another MONTH to get my new IC

And according to my temporary one, I’m Buddhist. And I only have 1.5 eyes.

I is needs a haircut. But I like my emo hair because I’m emo like that wth.

Everyday, when I’m not wasting my time worrying my butt off, I waste my time daydreaming. I hate waiting and being scared. I hate this sort of suspense.

Gah.

You know what I love?

Turning the aircon on full blast and wrapping myself in my blanket but still freezing my butt off, watch a good movie and stuff myself with potato chips. Despite the fact that they have been too generous with salt in that packet of Lay’s I just finished. It’s almost a bad thing that I have seemingly unlimited supply of chocolates at home. Been stuffing my face crazy with kinder buenos and ferrero rochers and kitkats and the worst part is, I’m still not sick of them

Watched 500 Days of Summer today. Do you think there’s gonna be 500 Days of Autumn? And no, that wasn’t a lame joke. I bet people who watched the movie get me

Still want to watch Time Traveler’s Wife Can’t find the DVD here and it’s not showing at the cinemas!

Still don’t have a Leona Lewis CD because the only place I can get original CDs from is Speedy and they don’t have it there yet.

Still want to write that book I’ve been meaning to write since college. Might finally put a start to it. But then again, I’ve been saying this for the past .. OMG.. 2 years.

Gonna go to bed now.

Watched My Sister’s Keeper and OMG it is such a freaking sad movie. I highly recommended it to all medical students It’s like an integrative MBBS course all in one movie – from acute promyeloid leukemia (or whatever type of leukemia it was) to debates of pro-life versus pro-choice to palliative care. I’m glad the ending of the movie didn’t follow the book’s Would’ve been much more tragic (I didn’t read the book. Wiki has all the answers duh)

I still wanna watch The Time Traveler’s Wife!!
