I think it’s safe to say that everyone has a hobby. There’s always an activity that sticks out for each person, whether it’s something they enjoy doing, something to kill time, something to nurture a habit, or just something purely for fun!

Some people enjoy reading

while some people enjoy sleeping all the time (okay, I do).

As for me, I enjoy taking jumpshots and (as if I haven’t proven myself enough,) here’s a jumpshot of yours truly!

Nowadays with the price of air tickets going lower and lower, it appears that more and more people have picked up traveling as a staple hobby.

I am SO jealous of people who get to travel all the time! They get to experience different cultures, eat the craziest, most exotic food, satisfy their eyes with the most amazing architectural developments, witness snow on their noses (and then proceed to shiver like mad WAKAKAKA) and the list just goes on and on and on.

Bah. I’m getting so bitter just thinking about not being to travel so often T_______T

You know, I probably wouldn’t be cooped up at home now if only I’d picked up this hobby earlier in the year:

STALKING THE MALAYSIA AIRLINES WEBSITE FOR CHEAP TICKETS!

Okay, stalking is probably the wrong word.. more like err, checking regularly?

Yeap. I should have checked the Malaysia Airlines website more often before the holidays started. Then I might just be on a plane now, eating a neatly packed MAS airplane meal (i love airplane food!), getting free chocolates and complimentary ice cream (they gave Baskin Robbins the last time I was on the plane yo!).

I guess now I can start checking the website every 1/34839 second because Malaysia Airlines has just launched a new website :)

Go check it out at http://flymas.mobi!

It’s a very simple booking engine designed to be surfed on mobile phones so it’s super fast! If your mobile phone doesn’t support GPRS/EDGE/3G/3.5G/wifi (meaning you can’t go online using your phone la!), you can still use your computer to access the website. It’s a lot faster than booking through the official website!

And it’s really easy to use too. Seriously, it’s so simple to use you won’t even need anyone to teach you.

But I’m going to teach you anyway :P

I’m going to teach you how to book tickets using flymas.mobi FLIGHT ATTENDANT STYLE! Read more

Kolej Tun Datu Tuanku Haji Bujang, Miri

Back in high school, I used to hate it when people asked me which school I go to. I mean, I didn’t wanna waste my saliva telling them the full name of the school because it’s such a long name (and they probably won’t recognise the name anyway). And I didn’t really want to tell them ‘Kolej’ either because it sounds like college (well, technically it is la) but it’s not a college college…. as in.. it’s still a secondary school. Confusing huh? Don’t ask me why it’s called Kolej because I can’t remember why either.

So, if you’re curious to know which school did this *ahem* elite *ahem* student come from, I came from KOLEJ TUN DATU TUANKU HAJI BUJANG MIRI.

Woah such a mouthful. To be completely honest, I kinda forgot the full name a few months ago when someone asked me o.O

Anyway, yesterday I picked Fakhrul and Nash up because I needed help with my camera and together we went back to Kolej. It’s been at least a year since I’ve been back there and I was completely dumbfounded at seeing how much everything has changed!

It’s like a freaking town by itself in there!

A really, really, really small town but still a town.

Now, time for photos! Read more

MUMedS Formal Dinner 09: Part I

Last year I blogged about the MUMedS Dinner in 3 parts (here, here and here) because I had too many photos to post. This year I took less photo so there’s only going to be 2 parts.

BFF, IF YOU’RE READING THIS I WANT OUR PHOTOS IN YOUR CAMERA!! Stupid Dan wouldn’t take photos using my camera because it wasn’t good enough to make up for his atrocious photography skills hmmph!

Anyway, this year’s theme was A WALK TO REMEMBER.

Trust chairperson Patrik to come out with a theme like that *cough cough*.

It was supposed to be an open air garden dinner which would have been really terrific if you ask me but it had to rain that day =.= So we had to use their tiny little ballroom instead. Actually, if it WAS at the garden, a lot of us would’ve been overdressed haha. Me included :P

Oh! Please allow me to tell you about my outfit. But before that, I shall post a random photo first :P

These are my PCL group members this year. Minus Seik Yao, Matt and Pari. Our tutors were changed like dirty laundry. Only, of course, they’re not dirty laundry. Read more

My Teenage Years are Coming to an End

breathe in

Everyone please scream NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

2009 is coming to an end and the ending of this decade will bring forward the demise of my youthful teenage years *sobs* (wah say until it’s going to be the end of the world or something)

I’ve said before that being 19 feels so caught in between and I still feel that way. I’m on the brink of my teenagehood, about to step into adulthood but then again legally the age of an “adult” is 21 yo in most countries anyway. Which is pretty retarded if you ask me. So yeah, sometimes I don’t know what age to act wth.

Now I only have 4 months before I lose the ‘teen’ in my age. *wails* Read more
