Since I’ve decided to change my layout to a super minimalistic one, I shall start every post with a photo. Well, most probably my own photo la wth.

So yesterday was Winter Solstice/Festival. I remember learning about it in Geography but I don’t remember any Geography so nyeh…

Anyway, I tried to Google why Chinese people eat tang yuans (glutinous rice flour balls) during Winter Festival because there seems to be fascinating reasons behind every of our celebrations/traditional food.

LO AND BEHOLD, look what I found.

According to this website, people of Northern China used to eat dumpling soup on this day to “keep them from frost in the upcoming winter”. =.=

Oh oh! But in South China, they eat tang yuans to “drive away ghosts and other evil things“.

I don’t know how that works, but I hope you had yours. Maybe I should have had a few more.

I’ve probably mentioned this before, but now I have photographic evidence! I once said that most of my gadgets are coincidentally black + silver/metallic grey (which is essentially silver, no?) and now even my new camera is like that too!

The other stuffs include my my old camera, watch, glasses, phone and netbook!

I think I’m secretly obsessed with this combination of colours. So you’ll know what to get me when you’re shopping for a gift for me *wink wink* (oh wait let me go bold that sentence) (okay done wth)

So I tried taking jumpshots again today and OHMAHGA it was so freaking tiring OHMAHGA WHY DID I DECIDE TO DO IT? And now my hamstrings are like killing me. Okay, not really. But I think I lost 93824023850 litres of water from perspiring.

I’m still not very great with the timing of this camera. I used the 2-sec timer but it doesn’t go off in 2 seconds =.= So in most of the photos gravity has already gotten the best of me.

And my success rate is only 18 out of… 93 OHMAHGA THAT’S SO FREAKING ATROCIOUS!! Not even half of my photos were good okay OHMAHGA how can this happen to me?? I’ll improve on my timing, I swear!

But there were a few that could have been good jumpshots. But my camera couldn’t autofocus fast enough so they’re all blurry *scoffs at camera*

Right? Right? If they weren’t blur they would’ve been totally awesome right??

I think I’ll post the good ones one by one because it makes them more precious that way wth.

I wanna dye my hair again because it’s so black now and I like myself with brown hair But Year 3 starts in a little over a month and it’s a clinical year which means I’ll have to always look professional in that humongous hospital so I don’t think I should doing any tricks to my hair for the next 3 years T_______T Actually more like, FOREVER UNTIL I RETIRE OHMAHGA I DON’T WANNA BE A GREEN-HEADED 56 YEAR OLD JUST BECAUSE I COULDN’T DO IT WHEN I WAS 19 T_________T So yeah, I’ll just see how things go la in JB. Maybe the patients wouldn’t mind me being a little *ahem* fashion forward afterall *in denial*

But thank God for colour hair gel!

I was playing with my hair because I thought red and blue (which you can’t see in this photo) hair would look good in my jumpshots! But errr, evidently it was of no use la.

Another photo just for the sake of stuffing your eyes with my face. The thing I don’t like about good cameras is the fact that you can FREAKING SEE MY PORES (AND MY PORES ARE NOT PRETTY) in the unretouched photos and photo retouching takes extra long because you have to do it more carefully sigh. But I love the quality nonetheless. Oh! And you can see my chapped lips in this photo =.=

Christmas is coming! Got my camera as an early present and I’m content
