The aforementioned cookbook. It’s a tiny little hoodie!! Damn cute, no? Maybe I should buy a navy hoodie just to match it wth.
So this is going to be my official cookbook for…. as long as it can last me. Or until I decide that I don’t like cooking enough to continue doing it, which is probably in another 72 hours wth. Oh well, at least there’s ONE recipe in it already
2 days ago I made an Oreo Cheesecake for the first time! It’s super easy to make! Doesn’t even require any baking so I highly recommend it to those lazybums who have knack for desserts
If I can do it, anyone can! (okaylah actually I felt super pressured because stupid Timmy told me ANYONE can do it but now I can say it too woohoo) And I have like hardly any experience in cooking. I mean, the only time I’ve actually really cooked was when I made fried rice vermicelli (chewah canggihnya nama) for like.. 50 people.
Okaylah, all I did was stir the bihun over and over again while someone else help me add all the ingredients. My arms almost fell off.
ANYWAY, THE Oreo Cheesecake came out like this:
It doesn’t look super duper good but it tasted really good! And I’m not the only one who said it okay!
Okay I’m just going to type out the recipe here in case you wanna try it too, which I think you should, because I don’t wanna make it for you wth.
Ingredients (wanted to take photos of them but was too eager to make the cake so didn’t haha):
Crust (super yummy!):
1. 120g Oreos (without cream – keep cream for filling)
2. 70g unsalted butter
Oh but personally I would put more la.. I didn’t know how the ratio of crust:filling was like so I just followed blindly. Turns out the crust was only so thin (as shown in the pic) and I super love the crust!
Filling:
1. 250g cream cheese (basically one pack of Philadelphia cheese la, which is already yummy by itself. Yes I licked the remnants wth)
2. 120g castor sugar (can reduce if you don’t want the cake to be really sweet. Mine was o.O)
3. 2 Oreo’s (I ended up using 6 wth. That’s why the filling looks more.. brown)
4. 150 g whipped cream (which is the same as fresh cream?)
5. 1 tbsp gelatin
6. 80 ml full cream milk
Method:
1. Making crust: Crush the Oreo’s & mix in butter. The end haha.
2. Press into a round pan/ cake tin. Chill in the fridge until firm. You can put it in the freezer so it chills faster.
3. Making filling:
a) Beat cream cheese & castor sugar until smooth.
b) Add whipped cream, Oreo cream & 2 (or in my case, 6) crushed Oreo’s. Mix well.
c) Heat full cream milk & gelatin in a pot. Stir constantly until boil. (Actually no need til boil, just make sure the gelatin is fully dissolved)
d) Pour the milk into the cream mixture & mix well.
4. Spread onto the crust.
5. Chill in the fridge (freezer recommended) for 3 hours.
And ta-dah!
Oh! It’s pretty hard to get the cake out of the tin too so I layered the tin with food wrapper before I poured everything in so I can just pull the cake out. I am so smart thank you very much.
It made the sides weird though but you didn’t need to know that
That’s all!

omfggg it looks gooooodddd.. i wanna make but im so lazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
*drools*… i wan =(
I knew it was the kind of cheesecake that didn’t need baking! Ahah!
abby, but it’s so easy!
aaron, haha make yourself! aren’t you pretty good at cooking?!
nisa, that doesn’t change the fact that it tastes really good
ahahah there i was wondering why the cake looks crumply… use square tin next time la then can just trim off the edges neatly. keep cooki…er, making food!
mnda, but i don’t have a square tin! i think
i don’t enjoy cooking but i guess making desserts is worth it because they’re so heavenly!
OMG it look so nice!
I was looking for recipe for my CNY.
and i found this.
Nice nice!
I’m gonna do this soon!
