Super Fail Day!

Today was a day of failures. Technically, ‘today’ is yesterday because it’s a new day now but let’s not get too technical.

So I decided to push my boundaries in the world of cooking (waiseh) and TRIED making fettuccine carbonara. Keyword: TRIED, as if that wasn’t obvious enough.

Just like any other time I’m cooking (not that I’ve cooked much but I probably should have) I got all the ingredients ready.

I got the recipe from some random website from Google Search and it looked simple enough so I decided to give it a go. And the end result looks like this…….

It looked OKAY, smelt good and tasted… SWEET.

Honestly, I don’t know what went wrong :( I followed everything on the recipe.. and my pasta was al dente okay which means my cooking technique isn’t THAT BAD right?? (okay I did waste an egg when I tried to get the yolk. I cracked it too hard and everything just flowed into the sink wth. Thank goodness I was smart enough to crack it by the sink)

I think it was the cream :(

Anyway, I dumped most of it. Sigh. This is why I didn’t wanna try cooking. Because it can be so wasteful. And I’m no rubbish dump that can gobble up any food that tastes like it belongs in the rubbish bin, which makes it worse.

I think I should stick to making desserts la. They’re so much easier to make.

Sigh. I is sad.

Nah show you sad face wth.

Then, I decided to play around with my camera because I was bored and didn’t know what else to do (although I should be doing a lot of unpacking and repacking). I was trying to play around with really low shutter speed and move my hands around to have that whole *insert person with lots of hands* effect.

But like, super fail also hahaha. Most of the photos look like this:

Okay that was a lie. This is actually one of the better shots where my face is relatively clear because I managed to not move it for 2 seconds while moving my arms.

Moral of the story: Theory and practice are two separate things.

I should try using multiple exposure next time but it’s hard to do that when you’re taking photos with A TRIPOD AND SELF-TIMER. *hint hint* Who wants to be my photographer? *bats eyelashes*

Yeah, obviously that didn’t work out.

But what finally worked out were my self-portraits (which never seem to fail me actually wth).

:D

Syok sendiri #1

:)

Syok sendiri #2 I really like this photo (for now)! If I were to be the Prime Minister or some DYMM one day I’ll choose this photo to be hung at all those government offices, which is a very self-cheating thing to do because by then I’d probably be 80 and balding with a beer belly and a sinister smile because I’ve siphoned so much money wth.

cheesy much

Very cheesy pose, which reminds me of those bridal studio photographers who are so annoying. I don’t need go to a studio and pay a bomb to strike a cheesy pose okay! I can do it in my own bedroom thank you very much. The photo’s a bit blur though, because you see, when you use self-timer, the camera doesn’t focus very well. Something I learnt from my extensive experience wth. So.. again.. who wants to be my photographer? :D I’ll do all the editing myself :D (unless I don’t have to).

Oh! I watched Ghost Whisperer just now and Melinda’s (that’s her name right?) husband died! :(

Super tak jadi lor today. I mean yesterday.

That’s all!

Cya!

Your cream is dairy or non-dairy? You should put the dairy one..which is not sweet..
